We have rolled out a new update this week, which includes the following new features.
- Improved Host notifications for reservation changes
- Automatic job cancellation for declined and cancelled reservations
- Contractors add staff to 7DAY and assign jobs
Improved Host notifications for reservation changes
When Guests make changes to a reservation, the Host will receive more information in their email notification. All changes that have been made and the jobs attached to the reservation will be listed. Links to the jobs are included to access within 7DAY and make necessary adjustments.
For Hosts that have submitted changes to a reservation, a warning pop-up will display the number of attached jobs and that the job requirements and details may have been affected. The 'View Jobs' button can be selected to view the attached jobs.
Automatic job cancellation for declined and cancelled reservations
Hosts will no longer need to cancel jobs attached to a cancelled/declined reservation. Once a reservation has been cancelled or declined by a Host or Guest, all jobs attached to the reservation will be automatically cancelled, saving valuable time.
Contractors add staff to 7DAY and assign jobs
Contractor companies can onboard their staff directly into 7DAY for smoother operations management. This enables teams within their organisation such as cleaning companies with multiple staff members to access and manage their upcoming jobs within the platform. Staff are assigned one of the following permissions:
- Admin
- Add, edit and remove users within the company
- Assign and accept jobs
- User
- View assigned jobs
- Add notes and message the Host of the reservation job
With staff added, jobs can now be assigned. Staff members can document job progress and quality by adding notes and images, with in-app messaging available to communicate with Hosts.
