We’ve rolled out a new update this week that allows Hosts to include third-party contractor services—such as catering and massages—directly within their Experiences. Once added, guests can select a contractor, view pricing, and submit detailed service requests as part of their booking.
1. Host Controls for Contractor Services
Hosts can now add or edit Experiences and assign specific contractors for each service category.
For example:
- Catering → Jim’s Catering
- Massage → Jill’s Massage Services
This ensures that each Experience accurately reflects the service providers available at that location.
2. Guest Service Selection During Booking
If an Experience offers optional services (e.g., catering, massage), and a Guest opts in during booking, they will now see a full list of available service options. Guests can specify exactly what they want, including:
- Selecting individual services
- Choosing quantities (e.g., 60-minute massage × 3 people)
- Start time
- Date
- Notes
3. Automatic Job Creation (Pre-Approval)
When a Guest requests services such as catering or massage:
- A Job is automatically created in the system.
- Contractors will not be notified until the reservation is approved.
This means Hosts don’t need to manually create jobs following a massage or catering request—saving time and ensuring a smooth workflow.
Note: Advise your contractors to add their price list within 7DAY so guests can select the service when making a booking.
