Overview
Catering and Alcohol Set Menus allow Hosts to create predefined food and beverage packages that guests can add to their booking requests.
Set menus provide guests with a simple way to select catering or alcohol options during the booking process while streamlining the fulfilment process for Hosts.
When a guest selects a set menu, a Job Request is automatically created and linked to the reservation, allowing it to be managed alongside other reservation services.
How Set Menus Work
Hosts can create multiple catering and alcohol set menus and assign them to specific experiences.
During the booking process, guests can:
- Add Catering or Alcohol to their booking.
- Select one of the Host's available set menus.
- Alternatively, choose a preferred caterer (if one is available for the experience).
Once the booking request is submitted, a corresponding Job Request is automatically created.
The Job Request can be viewed:
- On the reservation.
- Under Jobs > Job List.
How to Create a Set Menu
- Log in to 7DAY.
- Select Admin Centre.
Under Catering and Alcohol Settings, select Catering and Alcohol Set Menus.
- Click Add New Set Menu or edit an existing menu.
- Complete the required fields.
- Select the experiences the set menu should be available for.
- Click Save.

When a guest books an eligible experience:
- Select the experience to book.
- Add Catering or Alcohol during the booking process.
- Choose one of the available Set Menus by the Host or, where available, select a preferred caterer.

A Job Request is automatically generated when the reservation is approved and attached to the reservation for fulfilment.
Managing Job Requests
After a guest selects a set menu:

- Hosts can manage the request from the reservation or by navigating to Jobs > Job List > upcoming
- Standard job request workflows, including assignment and status updates, apply to these requests.
