Sync your accepted 7DAY jobs with external calendars such as Google Calendar or Outlook to keep your schedule organised and up to date. Contractors can choose to sync either their own 7DAY personal calendar or the entire organisation calendar to view all upcoming jobs across the business. These integrations provide a read-only view of accepted bookings and automatically refresh based on the external calendar’s update frequency, helping reduce scheduling conflicts and improve team visibility.
To enable this integration:
Log in to 7DAY
Click on 'Jobs' from the menu
Click 'Calendar Link' (located in the 'Your Jobs' section)
Select either 'My Calendar Link' or 'Organisation Calendar Link'
Copy into your Google Calendar or Outlook
For Google Calendar Users:
Once you have followed these steps, go to your Google Calendar and:
- Under ‘Other Calendars’ click on the + (add symbol)
- Select ‘From URL’
- Paste the copied link into the empty field
- This will sync and import your bookings
- To change the name of the calendar, select the calendar from the left panel and change the name
IMPORTANT: to ensure all future bookings and updates are added to this google calendar, click here - https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/syncselect and tick the calendar you just added and save. If you don’t do this, Google Calendar will not fetch the booking information regularly.
For Outlook Calendar Users:
Once you have followed these steps, go to your Outlook Calendar and:
- Click 'Add Calendar'
- Click 'Subscribe from the web'
- Paste the copied link into the empty field
- Add the calendar name and click 'Import'
